Depression economics

by Roger Collins on May 25, 2009

If society had a good understanding of economics then everyone would laugh at a proposal like  Obama’s “spend our way out of a recession” plan.  We would laugh because we would all know better and it would be funny for someone to propose something so stupid, like proposing that maybe the earth is flat after all.  Don’t laugh about what our ultimate cause should be: educating society about economics.

Dr. Friedman provides the best material for this cause.  In one short blog post he elegantly corrects one of the most harmful and common misconceptions:

Keep up the great work, David.

Jesus, and Napoleon warned us long time ago about the money changers and recent incarnation /Banksters.

Check my recent post on my facebook profile.

“When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes… Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain.” – Napoleon Bonaparte, 1815

I think you illustrate my point. The baker’s desire for “gain” is what puts bread on the table in an affordable way. Its a good thing in a free market.
